Windows 10: 1 second mute in audio sound if the audio or video media has been paused for around 30...

This isn't a syncing issue I don't think. It's a "muted" for a second issue. I haven't found the exact amount of seconds it takes to cause this issue, but after appromimately 30 seconds after a pause of an audio file or video with audio ex: Youtube, when pressing play to resume the audio, the audio or video with audio doesn't make a sound for appromimately 1 second. If I pause and resume playing within a short period 10 seconds of less lets say, there is no audio mute. I first noticed this on youtube; then I tested it on a windows media player sound file. Windows 10 mutes all bluetooth audio after pause

Given:
1. A sound playing from audio player / video player / Spotify
2. A sound playing in Chrome / Firefox / Edge (YouTube for example)
3. Click pause in any place from list item 1 or 2
4. All other audio is being muted (players / browsers (note: except for Edge) / even Windows sounds); but the audio device says that sound is present
5. The audio / video players / YouTube keeps counting seconds
6. The sound resumes after some time (usually it takes 10-30 sec)

I've updated all the drives and laptop firmware. Windows 10 2004 19041.450, no updates available at this moment.
No firmware updates are available for headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT).

UPD: I've created a local test user and tried to perform a clean boot and the problem has gone. Same thing with the same test user but without a clean boot! So, seems like it is a problem with my current user settings, the best thing I guess is to reset Windows
to its default state.

 

Sound Muted When Resuming Video

I'm not sure if this is a Chrome issue an Audio Sub-System or a Driver issue.

Background;
UNtil a couple of days ago I had an Nvidia GTX 960 that I connected to my HDTV with an HDMI cable. I ran the video and audio through the GTX 960, into the TV and out to my speaker system.

6 days ago on the 18th, I swapped my GTX 960 which was dying due to severe over-heating and age, for an RX580. The RX580 installed fine and everything appeared to go well. Video, Audio resumed as I had it before without the dying GTX 960's issues.

Approximately 2 days ago, I noticed an annoying issue;
I often open many Youtube tabs at once and then play, close, play down the list. Sometimes, as happens, I have to pause a video for anywhere from 30 seconds to a few hours before I can finish watching it. When I click to resume the video, the video plays but I have no sound until I refresh the page.

Until tonight, this issue was limited to Google Chrome. Tonight while watching a movie in VLC with some friends, I noticed that if I paused VLC, upon resume the audio will stay muted for 1-3 seconds, and then unlike Chrome, the audio will resume with no further issues unless I pause it again.

All nVidia Software/Drivers were uninstalled from the system before installing the new video card.

I am using Google Chrome v84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Radeon Software Version 2020.0515.1537.28108
Driver Version 19.50.29.27-200515a-355311C-RadeonSoftwareAdrenalin2020 (Which as far as I can tell is the most recent "recommended" version from AMD).

Audio and video pauses automatically

Audio and video pause automatically (and sometimes pause and play) only when I use an internal (Youtube, google) or 3rd party software (windows media player, VLC, films &TVs ).
1. It happens only when I am playing a video or audio.
2. No virus (after scan)
3. Since the spacebar key is usually associated with play & pause, I tried typing something in MS word. I did not see any auto space being generated between 2 letters. (tested for 5 mins)
4. Autoplay and pause (sometimes just pause) occur maybe after 20 seconds. (it is random)
5. I can actually see the virtual pause and play button is toggled. (no other error message is shown, it happens as if I am physically pressing the spacebar key.
