Solitaire Collection - Stopped working - Windows 10

    Hi Frank,

    It is possible that the
    components were corrupted
    during the update causing your
    Solitaire Collection
    to
crash. We suggest that you perform these
    methods of troubleshooting
    and run the application again:

Method 1: Run the Windows Store Application Troubleshooter.

    To run the
    Troubleshooter, click this
    link.

    Method 2:
    Run SFC Scan.

    SFC
    will
    scan
    and
    run
    an
    automatic repair
    to any
    corrupted system files
that it will detect. We suggest that you perform it twice. To run an
    SFC scan, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt as Administrator.

    • Type
      sfc /scannow
      and hit
      Enter.

    Method 3: Reset Windows Store.

    To
reset Windows Store, follow these steps:

    • Press
      Windows Key + R
      to open the
      run window.

    • Type
      WSReset.exe
      and hit
      Enter.

    • Open
      Windows Store
      and
      sign-in
      with your
      Microsoft Account.

    • Run
      the
      Solitaire Collection.

Update us on how it goes.

    Regards.

Unable to access Microsoft Solitaire Collection

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand how frustrating it is when you are unable to access
Microsoft Solitaire Collection from Microsoft Store. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

    • What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type winver
      in Windows search/Run command)
    • What is the complete error message?
    • Do you have any non-Microsoft antivirus program installed?
    • Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?

In this scenario, we would suggest you to perform all the steps sequentially and check if you are able to access Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Step 1: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter: Select the
Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
    > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.

    Step 2: Reset App

    1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
      Settings.
    2. Click on Apps and select
      Apps & feature
      from the left pane.
    3. Scroll and look for the Microsoft
      Solitaire Collection app.
    4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
    5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.

Step 3: Uninstall app using Power shell command

    1. Press Windows + X key and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    2. Copy and paste this command, then press enter:
      Get-AppxPackage *solitairecollection* | Remove-AppxPackage

    3. Close the PowerShell command and restart the PC.

Step 4: Reset the Windows Store Cache: Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

    Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Step 5: Install Microsoft Solitaire Collection

Once the PC restarted, then go to
    Microsoft Store
to download and install Microsoft Solitaire collection.
