Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

• Does this issue persist while printing from specific app or from all programs/app?
• Is printer connected to PC with wired connection or wireless connection?

I would suggest you to follow the methods given below and check.

Method 1:

Firstly I suggest you to
Run Printer Troubleshooter and check if that helps.

The built-in Printer Troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix most of the incorrect settings and errors that could cause issues while printing. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if there is any issue
with the sound. Refer top these steps:

• Open Control Panel
• Click on Troubleshooting and select the
  view all option on the left pane.
• Click on Printer troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

If issue still persists try method 2,

Method 2:

Clear Printer Spooler files and enable the Print Spooler Service

Step 1:

• 
  Press Windows key + R, and type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the run and hit enter.
  
• 
  Double-click "Printer Spooler"
  in the Services list.
  
• 
  Click Stop and click
  OK.
  
• 
  Press windows + R key and type
  "%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the open window and click on
  OK, and delete all files in this folder.
  

Step 2:

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.
