Windows 10: 1 year old Computer has just stopped working, unable to recover, make bootable disk

I have a new PC with Windows 11 that is less than 1 year old.For the past week programs have started to crash, data has become corrupted and I have been getting the Blue screen of death due to a multiple of errors.\I have tried to update my drivers but everything I download fails to unzip properly, specifically my NVIDIA driver says there is a 7zip errorI have tried a series of different things like running the windows memory diagnostic tool which said there was an issue, but at the end I got the BSOD due to "not enough memory to create a ramdisk device"I have run both SFC and CHKDSK. Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!

 

Disk defrag stops at 1%

Many thanks for your reply. I have tried to do as you suggest, but there doesn't appear to be an Applog file under C:/Windows. Not sure whether I have looked correctly - I ticked the Hidden items option on the right hand side of the view ribbon.

One further point, the Disk Defragmenter tool does not actually get stuck or stop responding - it completes its sequence but shows that the C drive is still 1% fragmented. Before the updates, it always showed 0% defragmented.

Recovering files

1st rule of no backup screw-up... Stop using the disk!!! If it was an SSD and the partitions has been deleted and a new OS is installed and it has been used for a while so TRIM had have it's chance to run completely.. The chance is slim to non to recover the files without special recovery tools(read recovery specialists) If it was an HDD it is possible to recover some of the files if you follow the Rule-1 of no backup screw-up. When you have stopped using the disk(read the computer is OFF/ disk is not connected) Then it is in no hurry to go it over step by step, as it can not get worse when it is off. so time is on your side so to speak.
