Windows 10: 1 year old Windows 11 HP laptop locks up and screen goes black.

I have 2 identical HP laptops. They seem to run fine until I start using CorelDRAW. About a minute or two in, the computer locks up and the screen goes black. I contacted CorelDRAW technical support and he was able to determine the below issues with Windows through an extensive online session where he took over my laptop. He also tried to update Windows and found some HP updates which they all downloaded fine but when rebooting the computer we got this message: "Something didn't go as planned. No need to worry - undoing changes." I'm not sure what to do next and I am hoping someone on here c

Could you please help me with the below information:

1. What is the model of HP laptop you are using?
   
2. Does the black screen occur while using the PC or while restarting the machine?
   
3. Are you aware of any changes happened on the computer prior to the issue?
   
4. Which version of Windows you are using? (To check, type:winver in start menu and hit enter.)
   

I appreciate the time you have taken to resolve this issue. There can be many reasons for booting to a black screen.
These screens may appear with or without the mouse pointer.
The main causes are Problems with the driver for your display adapter or incompatible application.

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the article on
Troubleshoot black screen or blank
screen errors,
refer the section
I see a black or blank screen after signing in to Windows 10.

If that doesn’t help, I would also suggest you to go through the article provided by HP on
Troubleshooting Screen Issues (Windows 10, 8, 7),
refer the section No image on the screen, or the screen is blank.

Black screen after login on HP Tablet

Hi all,

I've got an old HP tablet PC that I use more as a gadget rather than for much useful.

But anyway I installed the latest 2004 version of Windows 10 on it and now, although the Welcome/Login screen appears fine, as soon as I enter my PIN, the screen goes black. And does nothing else. I gather it is in Windows and at the desktop, but the screen just stays black. If I press the power/lock button on the tablet and then unlock again, the lock screen successfully appears but again, goes black if I try and go back to the desktop.

Is there any way I can diagnose this? Obviously it doesn't have a keyboard which makes things difficult.

HP ENVY x360 laptop screen flickers and goes black after Win 11 update

Hello,

My HP laptop x360 screen flickers and the screens goes black after the Win 11 update. The current Display driver is Intel Iris Plus Graphics Version 27.20.100.9316 . Ran Update Driver but there is no newer version to update. Also change refresh rate to 40hz but issue still persist.

Any other suggestions?
