    hello guys,

    so yesterday i decided to update my windows 1909 to 2004 version and i thought it would go smoothly but it didn't and me being stupid i deleted previous windows files by using disk clean up so now i am stuck on 2004 version of the windows.

    so back to my problem that i am facing is that while playing games my cpu usage jumps to 100% and starts bottle necking my gpu which in turn causes micro stutters and low fps. it never happened to me in previous version of the windows. the games i am playing is overwatch and black desert online and its happening in both of those games.

    fixes i have tried:

    changed power options to high performance

    reinstalled gpu driver by using ddu

    my specs:

    i5 3570 3.8ghz

    2x4gb ddr3 1600mhz ram

    rx 470 4gb

    gigabyte z77mx-d3h motherboard

    thermaltake tr2 rx 450 watt psu

    cpu usage at 100%

    CPU usage at 100% from start up for no apparently good reason. Service Host appears to be the problem but I cant narrow it down more than that at present.

    Any suggestions?

    I am using Windows 10 full release version 64 bit.

    Anniversary Update: Windows 10 CPU usage 100% All the time


    So I disabled Defender and search indexing completely.

    I did a clean boot minus TeamViewer because I have to use it to access my PC for now.

    As you can see my CPU usage is always 100%, Due to this CPU fan never stops, even when temperature are normal.

    When I turn on pc, it always starts with 100% cpu usage. I also ran malware and antivirus scans, couldn't help (Quick Heal antivirus).

    Using Windows 10 updated to latest version.
