Windows 10: 100% disc space when PowerPoint open.

Hi all. I have been having an issue with my laptop for a few months now. It’s a hp notepad and has windows 10 installed. 4GB ram. It works fine using the web browsers and Microsoft word and excel. On task manager it says disc space is around 30-40% when I have lots of things open which is fine and it’s quick enough. I’ve recently started a little business and I have 100s of little images PNG that I have saved on a several PowerPoint presentations. As soon as I open the PowerPoint presentations my computer freezes and the disc space goes up to 100%. I’ve tried sooo many things to try reducing

since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.

Disc space 100%

So my HP pavilion laptop has been running pretty slowly lately and i’ve been doing a bit of research - i know nothing about theses things. So i moved all my pictures/vids onto an external memory source and removed them from the laptop as the memory on
task manager was full, that helped a bit but the disc space was still at 100% all the time and would not go down. So i did a clean boot and restarted the laptop with nothing but the bare minimum enabled but STILL the disc space is at 100%, from what i gather
its not a program problem but the system? I need help this things driving me insane and its only 18 months old!!

Firstly, I am not that familiar with Powerpoint.
I have only messed it with a few times.

Try this... Use one of these, or all of these, to open the file and see if they will run and save it:
Kingsoft Office Suite Free 2012
Lotus Symphony 3.0.1
LibreOffice
Apache OpenOffice 3.4.0
