    I've had this problem for years. None of the fixes "out there on the internet" work. I wonder did you ever think that maybe Microsoft might be able to help with a problem with Windows. But I guess not. I've been trying for f'in years to get this fixed. It's good to have a monopoly, huh?

    Clean install, disk usage at 100%

    I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

    Hi everyone,





    I recently went through some steps online to be able to start my laptop in clean boot mode so that I can identify the problem why my desktop works 100% but when i started in clean boot mode i am still using 100% of my disk. I really don't know what to suggest. I already tried disabling Super Fetch but it tells me an error code: Error 87: The parameter is wrong.

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.
