    100% Disk Usage after fresh windows & New HDD install


    Hello this has been an ongoing battle with my laptop. I have an Alienware 17r4, I have done almost all of the recommended resets and disables that pertain to 100% disk usage. After multiple unsuccessful tries I decided to replace my HDD and do a fresh install with windows. I am still having the same issue, when I look at the task manager the majority of the spike is coming from "system". Any help would be greatly appreciated, help me Obi Wan Kenobi you're my only hope.

    100% disk usage. New hdd and new windows install

    My HDD keeps spiking to 100% this morning I installed a brand new hdd as the issue was happening on previous HDD. Also a fresh windows 10 pro installation and the issue continues. I'm currently doing another fresh windows install. Hdd sticks around 1-2%
    but little tasks such as chrome or starting a download spike it up to 100% for around 5-10 minutes. Tried a lot of fixes on the net but to no avail

    100% Disk Usage after fresh install of Windows 10

    I bought a laptop Christmas 2018 (Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i5-7300HQ, 8GB RAM, 1TB Hybrid HDD, GeForce GTX 1050, 15.6" Full HD) and since having it the Disk Usage is constantly at 100% as soon as I log in. The
    laptop is fast to boot up and shut down but as soon as I log in the disk usage shoots up to 100% making everything very slow to load. I got a Dell representative to remote in about 6 months ago to try fix the issue but it has just kept happening. I used the
    download tool to create a fresh install of windows and let that run last night but, again, as soon as I log in the Disk Usage is still at 100%. Is there anything in particular I can do to reduce the Disk Usage and make my laptop usable at a decent speed?

    I have been having 100% disk usage off and on for several months. I have tried all steps from every suggestion I can find and nothing resolves the issue. I finally reset to a fresh install of Windows (wiping out all of my files and programs). Here I am
    with nothing on this computer, two programs open (Task Manager and Chrome), bouncing between 22-100% disk usage. Please help! I'm at my wits end! I have a Intel Core i7-7500 CPU @ 2.75 GHz, 2tb hard drive and 16 GB RAM
