    100% Disk usage due to System


    As the title mentions, when I check my task manager, it says that 100% of my disk is being used due to some System Processes. It's causing my laptop to be slow and after searching around the internet, I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Would anyone know the definitive way to fix this?     Clean install, disk usage at 100%

    I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

    Thank you for the reply,but your suggestion proved no use to me still the disk usage remains 100 percent and my system lags in performance.

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.
