Windows 10: 100 % disk usage, only in performance tab

Hello,I've been struggling with 100 % disk usage. As I stated in the subject, the 100 % is only visible in the performance tab. In the process tab the highest percentage is 33%.This does not happen all the time, but to often to ignore. I can not find out any logic in it.I've been having this problem for a while, looked on the internet a lot and tried different things.I'll make a list below about some of the things I've tried but I'm sure I will forget a couple.specs:Windows 10 Pro 64-bitsProcessor: Intel Core i5-4570 CPU 3.20GHzRAM: 16,0 GB500 GB HDD 80GB freeThings I have tried:Services

Disk Usage 100% in Performance tab, but not Processes?

Hello all!

So recently I've been having trouble with my Windows 10 desktop's disk usage constantly being at 100%. I did some methods that I found online and somewhat solved my problem according to the PROCESSES tab on my task manager. However, in the PERFORMANCE tab,
my Disk 0 (C still says 100% even though it's significantly lower on my PROCESSES tab. Anyone know what this means?

Hi,

100% disk usage and memory usage can be caused by a software corruption, running application running on the background and malware or virus infection.

For us to properly isolate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution, kindly answer the questions below:

• Did the issue happen after installing the Fall Creators?
• Did you receive any error messages?
• Can you send us the screenshot of the Task Manager showing the 100% disk usage and memory usage?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

For isolation purposes, please perform a clean boot to see if the same issue will occur. Refer to this
article for more information on how to perform a clean boot
in Windows.

As mentioned above, you can add additional columns to the list of processes by right-clicking on any column header.

I would suggest adding Disk Reads and Disk Writes from the Process Disk tab

You should be able to identify which process or processes are heavy disk I/O users.
