    Hello, I use windows 10 with an SSD and every time I start up my pc the disk goes to 100% usage for about five minutes and then falls to around 1-3% when the system is idle. System tasks such as "System", Windows Defender, svchost.exe, and wsappx will appear to be using all of the disk. Sometimes when opening applications such as Google Chrome, they will hog all of the disk usage and slow down the system even more. This problem has been going on for several months now. It first appeared around three months after using the system for the first time. It will increase loading times and slow down

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.
