    100% disk usage slowing laptop since 22 January 2019 update


    100% disk usage slowing acer laptop since 22 January 2019 windows 10 update ans 23 Jan 2019 Realtek driver update. Tried opening safe mode still have prob. Downloaded and ran ms security scanner and no viruses detected.

    Computer slow performance inWindows 10 and 100% disk usage.

    Original title : 100% disk usage on brand new laptop.

    I recentley bought a new toshiba laptop with windows 7 pro.

    Today I upgraded it to windows 10 and my pc is very slow now.. 100 % disk usage whole the time.;

    I already turned off windows search , prefetch , Skype , chrome ... Etc etc

    HELP ME !

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.
