Windows 10: 100% Disk usage some times

Discus and support 100% Disk usage some times in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; I'm running windows 10 on an acer aspire v5.     100% Disk usage some times


    I'm running windows 10 on an acer aspire v5. It's not some super computer but it's still a pretty good machine, 700gb+ free, runs pretty well. Sometimes, I check the task manager and it's at 100% disk usage. I don't know why and it concerns me, even though the computer still seems to run just fine.

    With Steam, I have had extremely slow erratic downloads for games and I'm thinking it might have to do with disk usage despite I'm not even running intensive programs. I don't know if its steam or not, my other downloads seem to be working fine. Here are a couple screenshots

    Steam was downloading games perfectly fine until a few weeks ago, I did a clean reinstall of my graphics driver.

    BSOD: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED

    Before BSOD occur, my disk usage is 100% then suddenly it occur. It is not the case that every time when my disk usage is 100%, BSOD occurs.

    Check your drivers for updates, maybe ethernet and wireless ones.
