Windows 10: 100% disk usage when I type help needed

    100% disk usage when I type help needed


    Hello. Basically I bought a used but in mint condition prebuilt desktop off Amazon and it came in today. Fresh out of the box and nothing is installed. I set it up and my problem is: Whenever I would type with my keyboard I noticed in Task Manager that the disk percentage would boost up to 100%. After I’d say 2-3 minutes my keyboard would just stop functioning with the PC and the disk space would be in the 2-8% range after it stops working. I couldn’t actually type any words out but stuff like my shift, tab, alt etc would still function as normal. It’s just the letter keys.If I were to restart

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.

    100% disk usage and memory usage can be caused by a software corruption, running application running on the background and malware or virus infection.

    For us to properly isolate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution, kindly answer the questions below:

    • Did the issue happen after installing the Fall Creators?
    • Did you receive any error messages?
    • Can you send us the screenshot of the Task Manager showing the 100% disk usage and memory usage?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    For isolation purposes, please perform a clean boot to see if the same issue will occur. Refer to this
