    The only thing on m PC that works is google chrome. microsoft edge fails as well. Every single app gives me a "this program has stopped working unexpectedly"My PC installed updates without my authority and when i woke up in the morning, every single app crashes. notepad, windows photo viewer, command prompt, troubleshooting wizard, windows media player, absolutely everything microsoft related, all videogames i have installed through steam fail to launch. i do not use microsoft store. I manually uninstalled the recent updates, but it didnt change anything, so I reinstalled them.I work from h

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
