Windows 10: 100% on hard drive c even through i have gotten a new one

So around a week or 2 ago, I realised that my disk usage for hard drive c was jumping to 100 from doing simple thing like clicking open a internet browser. So after doing a Varity of thing that apparently fix this and getting a no result, I decided to get a new hard drive, even through all system checks where showing my old one was perfectly fine. So I got my new hard drive and installed it however I am still getting the same problem as before.

Overclock your hard drive!!!

Heres a much easier hack that I realized quite a few years ago that really does work!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hard drive with molex power connection.
• PSU with more than 1 strand that has molex plugs on it.
• Wire strippers, soldering iron if you're fancy, electrical tape if you're not.

STEPS:

• Take the strand of connectors from your PSU, and decide which one will be the donator for this overclocking adventure.
• Cut the yellow and orange cables, then twist them together.
• Find the power connector you've chosen as the overclocking connector, and release the orange cable from the connector. Now use your preferred method to bind them together, then place it back together.
• Plug in a drive and feel the speed!

Congratulations! You've just overclocked your hard drive!

 

I need to reinstall windows from scratch but have no space in C: drive,

I guess you need a bootable device and a Windows ISO file.

Before you start, it would be better if this question cleared: If your C drive on a disk that only 32GB in size?

If yes, then it is suggested to replace it with a bigger one, even 128GB would be much better considering you have 1TB external storage.

If no, you can extend your C drive with the left space/partition on that disk. Then, it will be large enough to reinstall new Windows.

One more question, Is your 1TB external drive a portable disk or can you install it on your machine to replace the internal disk? If yes, you can replace the internal disk with the 1TB drive and do clean install with aforementioned bootable device or installation
disk.

BTW, if your 32GB D drive is an SD card, definitely no software would go there. You need to install and run software on hard drive instead of flash drive (SD card/USB) for a long run.

 

New Inspiron 5680 Hard Drive

So this might be a question already asked before, but I Just recently got a brand new Inspiron 5680. It's been great, but there's something I noticed. I bought the one with the 2 TB storage, and I came to find out that all of that storage isn't even being
used, and I'm receiving storage almost full on my C: drive which is just over 100 GB. The 2 TB storage is set as the D: drive, and I'm just trying to find out how I can make the 2 TB hard drive my default hard drive, and essentially be my C: drive.
