Windows 10: 10016 error keeps returning and crashes games

Hello, for quite some time now I keep having 10016 distributed com errors when playing games. The game Return Of Reckoning for example crashes. And when I go to my log, there is always the same returning error. I've been looking all over the internet and in forums but none of the solutions seem to work. I reinstalled Windows many times, it also happens on my new laptop. Please help.

Games keep crashing, Error 10016 in Event viewer


So my games keep crashing and after searching in google, people said to check event viewer.
there are multiple error 10016 in there but there are 10 on the exact same time.

I searched for a fix but when i get into the DCOM Config everything is greyed out.

This is the error :
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
and APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

can someone help me with this?
or does someone have a other fix for my games crashing?

 

Error 10016 - System Crash

Hi,

So for the past couple months I have been experiencing system crashes. No error reports or blue screens other than one that appears in my system log: Screenshot.

I am trying to follow a fix I found online: Fix Error 10016 in Windows Event Viewer

Whenever I get to the step about adding System into the launch permissions of the RuntimeBroker the add button is greyed out: Screenshot

My first question that I have is that is it even possible that this is the error causing my whole system to crash?

My next question would be how do I fix it?

The error ID 10016 usually occurs when you are trying to access the DCOM components without the required permission. For this, we need to modify your registry. Before modifying your registry, we highly recommend backing up your registry by following the

• Open Regedit.
• Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Ole.
