Windows 10: 10130 install

Did both a upgrade and clean install of 10130.On restart or shutdown I get this message.

DDE server window
This app is preventing you from restarting

memory could not be read

ALT + F4 for shutdown menu no problem

Is there a fix for this ?

Windows 10 Lates Build 10159 not downloading or taking over 3 hours to download

None of these solutions work for me.

I've clean installed the 10130 installed the drivers rebooted and updated and rebooted. All 10130 updates are in place up to Kb3070677. I've even uninstalled the Kb3070677 and ran the updates to confirm update is working. and it is. but cant get anything
beyond 10130.

Any other possible solutions other than just wait till 29th?

Confused! How did you do an upgrade AND a clean install? One is not the same as the other. *Confused

When I've done a clean install, letting the installer RE-Format the C: partition of the HD I'm using, and it went south on me, I just did the Clean Install over again, and again letting the installer RE-Format my HD, paying close attention to every detail, and that usually fixed things.

Upgraded from 10122 to 10130 on one drive.
made a iso from esd for the clean install on the other drive.
On clean install let the installer form format.the Partition.

Did three installs still have the same problem

 

If you wish, you can try:

• Disconnect all the drives except the drive you will install Windows.
• Connect the cable from the HD to the first sata port.
• Boot up Windows Installation, on first screen, hold SHIFT+F10 to get the Command Prompt
• run diskpart
• list disk
• Select disk # where # is the disk you will install Windows. I think it's 0 since you only have one disk
• clean
• exit
• exit again
• Continue with Windows Installation, select disk 0 (do not format), click next.

 

Set new Partition table,Formatted . Did a clean install again still same problem. Look as if I'm the only one with this problem. Just wait to see if there is a update to fix this problem. ALT + f4 is a work around.

May be a bug.Every thing is working ok other then that .

 

I also have the same problem, except for this minor annoyance the new build works well for me and wait for a fix with an update.

 

I've got the same issue that has popped up after upgrading two different VM builds to 10130.

 

I think I found an answer... at least a temp fix until MS fixes..try this and post if it works. Try the right click shut down from the start button.
Works for me every time.

Seems a lot of people have this problem (me included) when using the 10130 build, just come across this thread whilst looking for a fix!
