1080p TV as Monitor w/DVI from computer to HDMI on TV leaves screen fuzzy

I used to use a 1080p TV with a VGA connection as my monitor. I connected it to my VGA output on the PC and the screen was really sharp at 1920x1080. That TV went out. The new TV I bought only has HDMI inputs my first mistake not paying extra to get a TV that still had a VGA port. I got a DVI to HDMI cable and connected them using my DVI port. Overall, the image is not bad but the fine detail is fuzzy and it's a bit washed out. I tried a VGA to HDMI connection but the signal wouldn't come through to the TV from the computer. Yes, I made sure it was feeding the signal the right direction as

hmm.. sounds like that particular TV is not supported...
I would suggest only connecting PC monitors to your PC be it connected via DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort...

  4. 1080p TV as Monitor w/DVI from computer to HDMI on TV leaves screen fuzzy

Unable to connect TV like 2nd monitor via DVI to HDMI cable

    I can't connect second monitor
I used my TV before as second monitor and it worked perfectly.

I connected it with DVI to HDMI converter. DVI from computer and HDMI to TV.

Today I connected it and windows detected TV as "media device" (or something like that, my computer is on Croatian language).

Now I can't on any way do anything at it.

I will think that it is impossible that you can connect computer to TV at win 10 if I haven't done it a number of times before

I asked this once before but noone was able to help.

Also for those who thinks that they are smart, DVI can support audio, I tryed with connecting and disconnecting cables and Win Troubleshooting. So if anyone can help, please. If not, don't replay.
