Windows 10: 10home tablet: how to make browser see us as a desktop?

Hey everyone!!! Got a new Windows 10 home tablet and its blown me away with how smooth it is to use vs years ago. The one issue I have is that for our business we use one online website. On that site we use these things called phrases in text boxes. Example /Bob would make a dropdown box show up below the /word and we pick the sentence we need.

On desktop all browsers this works great. On the surface go 2 in all browsers this works great. On the windows 10 home tablet they won't show up.

We called tech support for the website and they said it's not coded for tablets only desktops.

But on the surface it works great? There's gotta be a way to make this thing not think it's a tablet. We've turned off tablet mode in every menu I've seen.

Browsers tried: both operas, brave, chrome, edge, Firefox

I've got to be missing something because this tablet is definitely powerful enough to run this one website lol.

Run Selenium Automation on Microsoft Tablet browser

As a part of the Automation Test, I have to set up my test framework to run tests on Microsoft Tablet(real device), I am not sure how to connect my framework with the tablet device. please suggest me some reliable approaches.

Selenium framework is written using C# and NUnit.

• Target browser is Microsoft Tablet's browser
• Both are in the same wifi
• Continuous test is not considered for now
• Real device is preferred over the online emulators

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

After windows update desktop stuck on tablet mode.

  Did the issue started after installing any Particular Windows Update? If yes, please provide the KB number of the Windows Update?
  

To find the KB number of the Windows update
please follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows + I key.
  
• 
  From the window select Update & Security.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Update.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced Options.
  
• 
  Click View your update history.
  

I would suggest you to try changing the mode and check if it helps.

Please follow the steps below to change the mode:

• 
  On the bottom right of the task bar click on
  open Notification Center.
  
• 
  From the notification menu, if Tablet mode is highlighted click on the
  Tablet mode.

  This will help it to get back to Desktop mode.
