Windows 10: 11900K with 4080?

Actually have the i9 11900K and want to buy the RTX 4080. I wonder if my 11900K will bottleneck the 4080? Or can I be calm ?I want to use 1440p 165hz. Thank you

NVIDIA unlaunching GeForce RTX 4080 12GB

The RTX 4080 12GB is a fantastic graphics card, but it’s not named right. Having two GPUs with the 4080 designation is confusing.

So, we’re pressing the “unlaunch” button on the 4080 12GB. The RTX 4080 16GB is amazing and on track to delight gamers everywhere on November 16th.

If the lines around the block and enthusiasm for the 4090 is any indication, the reception for the 4080 will be awesome.

11900k + Asus z590-A Crashing

I am having the exact same problem with nearly the same configuration. I have reinstalled windows and reset BIOS to defaults several times. I don’t have any software installed, and I am using the latest drivers downloaded from the ASUS website. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version. Nothing else is installed, and no overclocking. I even got the BSOD a couple of times while installing the chipset drivers that were downloaded off the ASUS webpage. I only devices that are installed on the machine are the graphics card, SSD, mouse, and keyboard. One thing that I noticed is that the memory, which is supposed to be 3600MHz, shows up as 2666MHz when I go into BIOS. Is that normal?
