  1. 14,598+ events on my Admin Event Log since 8/15/20...help?

Since trying to connect my computer to the printer yesterday, I ran into issues that had no idea about I'm not a programmer but very novice - amateur with computers. The printer company's outsourced 3rd party technician showed me the Events Log and how many warnings and errors are multiplying. They all began 8/15 this year. I *think* this was around the same time my OS on Windows 10 updated, and thus my remote mouse stopped working too. I've been able to print all along, until yesterday, but discovering the Events Log opened up a whole can of worms for me. I would like to know if someone could help guide me to the right actions to correct these things? I declined the technician doing it who would have charged me $200

    I followed this page's instructions.

Here is my link to the zipped folder of Errors.

I was considering running a System File Check SFC and DISM don't know what that stands for as recommended for a similar question in a post here. Is that what I should do next?

One last thing that may shine a light on this printer/PC connectivity error - my husband says that has to do with the internet router in our home. If it is, ok, but even if it is, I'd like to fix these thousands of errors and warnings if something has compromised my computer.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    :)

  2. Help to get Event ID 15 - ACPI to stop logging in Event Viewer

Not sure if this is the right section, if not please move to the correct one.

Under the details tab in Event Viewer when a logged event has a GUID that shows up in the registry under HKEYLM > System > CurrentControlSet>Control>WM>Autologger>EventLog-XX I know how to disable the event from logging, but Event ID 15 - ACPI does not have a GUID.

Does any one know how I can get this to stop logging? From what I have seen on the web only a fix to the motherboard BIOS would fix it and I doubt that this is high on Asus' list of BIOS fixes for the R6E. Everything I have read on the web says that this is meaningless and in the General tab it basically says to ignore it so I would like to get this to stop logging in Event Viewer.

14,598+ events on my Admin Event Log since 8/15/20...help?

How is Event Online Help supposed to work?

There are many errors in the Event Viewer. When I click "Event Log Online Help" a window opens asking if it is OK to send information across the internet. When I click Yes, a Technet page shows a series of issues that are not related to the event log issue.

Is it really supposed to work this way?? If so, how does it help me? If not, how can it be fixed? Is there not a listing somewhere of the Event IDs and suggested resolutions?

    Thank you.
