    I have tested it on two different PCs and after clicking the button it does just nothing. I guess a countdown to restart should be displayed after a while...

    WD Offline Scan button not working in1607 OS Build 14393.953

    Problem solved!!! Windows Defender Offline Scan is working!!!

    I "repaired" Win10 1607 14393.xxx by running the Media Creation Tool via USB flash drive.

    Now, Windows Defender Offline Scan button is working
    like a breeze!!! The MCT lets you keep all your apps, programs and files and reinstalls a fresh copy of OS 14393.XXX. I'm happy as a lark!!! All is well.
