    Hi!
    I have this problem with my monitor, that it doesn't work on 144 Hz max is 119/120 Hz on Windows 10, worked perfectly on Windows 7 with exactly the same hardware. What is the issue, how can i fix it or can't I?

    My PC specs:
    Intel Core i7 4930K

    ASRock x79 Extreme6
    32 GB DDR3 Ram
    Gigabyte NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760
    Monitor: BenQ XL2730Z connected via DisplayPort

    144hz Monitor

    I have a 144hz monitor but when i checked the monitors optimal hz it said 60hz i can change the hz to 144hz but im not sure if ill damage the monitor

    Hi IsaiH

    You won't damage the monitor, you may lock yourself out of Windows, because the monitor will go out of range and you will not be able to see what you are doing . . .

    Honestly if that monitor has a refresh rate of 60Hz, there is no point in upping that to 144Hz, there is nothing to gain by doing so . ..
