  2. change the default ip 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.x (1<x<255)

Sir, How do I change the default ip 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.x (1<x<255) as posted in the picture below.(this message is shown when I go to my lan connection network>properties>sharing i.e. when i turn on internet sharing in my lan connection to the hosted
network). I am posting this because if i am connected to any network with an ip 192.168.0.1 my internet connection sharing does not get enabled. So that is why sometimes I can access internet via my hosted network and sometimes I cannot. I am running windows
    10(64 bit).

system restore unsuccessful with error code 0 x 80070057

Thank you Sayan for the reply.

I managed to run the first two Dism commands successfully as you indicated but the third Dism command was unsuccessful and generated an error message as follows :

    ".Error: 0 x 800f081f

The source files could not be found.

Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that...

    see
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077
    .

The DISK log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log "

How on earth am I supposed to find ths location of the source files ?

    Help ?

    Go to C:\Windows\Logs\DISM

You will find the file there!

or copy paste the above in windows explorer(My computer)

    Thank you Daksh,

I'm sorry, am somewhat puzzled. The only file in that directory is dism.log. Need heavy guidance.

How do I use the "source" option to specify the location you suggest ?

I guess you were trying to specify the source for the DISM to fix your system.

I would rather suggest that you use the following command

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

If you have some iso file or have a repair disk, you can use the source command to direct your computer to repair via that file and not using windows servers.
