Windows 10: 16gig of ram installed 8.0gig usable

    Hello.

    I've done all the online corrective actions that's been suggested this past week, but I still have a ram issue. Moved ram around, used different ram, checked ram in another pc, used a different 64bit os, checked all settings, msconfig max boxes unchecked, bios sees the ram, Windows sees half the ram. CPU-Z does see the ram as dual channel up to 16g until I add more ram, then it shows single channel. And I see that Hardware Reserve is using half the ram but I cant find a way to change that setting.

    8 GB RAM installed but only 3.23 GB usable


    I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 Home from Windows 7 Home. And I replaced my 4 RAM sticks with 8 GB RAM but my system shows : Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (3.23 GB usable). Please advise if anyone knows how to fix this.

    Usable RAM

    The RAM is recognized. In BIOS it shows exact amount installed, Windows also shows exact amount installed but limits usable RAM.
