    Monitor still dont get 180 hz

    So i today bought a DP 1.4 cable for my monitor to get 180 hz and when i connected the hdmi side to my monitor and the display port side in the pc i still didnt get 180 hz why?

    My TV is 60 Hz, when I connect it to the pc, Windows sets the Hz to 59.955 Hz, when it is set to 59.955 Hz, the colors become dull, when I manually set it to 60 Hz, the colors and the image become much clearer. What is the cause? Is it better to set it to 60 Hz?

    165 hz refresh rate falls back to 143 frequently

    I've no idear why my desktop hz keeps going backwards to 143, very often 165 setting gets lost, any clues please Cheers in advance! EDIT: Signal is displayport in case means something
