    I'm running windows 10 pro with bitlocker enabled, last year when trying to install the feature update 1803 x64 2019-10B it locked my computer due to bitlocker. I ended up having to reinstall my system! I put off the update for 365 days, now its comeback, this time it does not lock the computer but I end up with a message saying device cannot be found on a blue screen and it does not boot. If I select alternative operating system, I have a choice of Windows Rollback which is the default and does not boot or Windows 10 which does work OK. After changing the default back to Windows 10 and getting rid of the question each time I boot up asking which operating system to install, all is OK, except that it downloads the update again!

    Can't Install Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 x64 2019-10B

    Hello.

    I'm trying to update my Windows 10 in an attempt to fix an ongoing error I've been having. It has been suggested that I make sure if there any updates available to download. I went to Windows update in settings and downloaded 10 to 15 different updates.
    However, the last one is, "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 x64 2019-10B." I've tried installing it multiple times and each time it downloads very slowly and erratically. When it reaches 100%, after staying there for a minute or two, it usually
    either freezes the computer or gets a blue screen of death stop code. After I restart, I open up the update screen again and the whole thing starts all over. I read that Windows Feature Updates 1803 are now old and the new ones are 1903 or something "19."
    But, when I "check for updates" in settings, the only one that shows up is Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 x64 2019-10B.

    I don't know what to do at this point and I'd love any help.
