Windows 10: 1809 and 'Top Sites' in Edge no longer configurable.

Following a clean installation of 1809 I'm finding that my top sites are not able to be moved around as you could in previous versions. Trying to drag a tile to the left or right simply places the No Entry sign over it meaning 'you can not do this'.

Anyone else noticed this ?

Dump the Edge.

What are the step-by-step instructions to:

1. delete one (or all) of the 'top sites' displayed in the drop-down box when I click on the Search box? (Replies to other posts about this topic say to: "click the 'x' in the corner of the specific top site" but none of the "Top Sites" have an 'x' in
the corner).

2. add a specific site to the 'top sites' displayed in the drop-down box when I click on the Search box?

 

Edge Top Sites

Hello. An observation on Edge. The top sites function in Edge should offer a much faster route to frequently used sites than the traditional favourites list. Unfortunately it is rubbish for a number of reasons. Firstly, it isn't possible to drag URLs from
the address bar when adding a site. It isn't even possible to copy and paste a URL. Secondly, customised top sites are lost when clearing history, replaced with the usual Microsoft product placement that doesn't reflect my preferences (Daily hateMail - really?),
with the added insult of the difficulty in replacing because of the lack of a drag and drop or copy and paste function. Two reasons why I continue to use Firefox. Comments?
