Windows 10: 1809 uninformed 'solutions', just stop!

Discus and support 1809 uninformed 'solutions', just stop! in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; PLEASE stop advising that a rollback to OS 1803 or a fresh install of the OS fixes problems caused by update 1809.     1809 uninformed 'solutions', just stop!


    PLEASE stop advising that a rollback to OS 1803 or a fresh install of the OS fixes problems caused by update 1809. They don't!!! And the issues caused are FAR more extensive than the 'few' admitted to by MS (why would they admit more?). I have two near inoperable laptops to prove that point!


    Further, today's update KB446330 has NOTHING to do with repairing 1809, that is obvious in reading on it! Stop making uninformed guesses on the issue gentlemen!

    Windows 1809 Started the install on Surface Pro 4 but it stopped and the update screen closed by itself.

    It started the download of 1809 and I walked away. Came back twenty minutes later and the update page was no longer open. Tried update again and it said it's updated.

    It didn't complete the update or state the RESTART NOW.

    Update history lists 1809 and states RESTART REQUIRED but since it didn't complete the install restarting does nothing.

    So it thinks it's installed the 1809 update but it hasn't. It won't download 1809 again.

    ABOUT say's it is 1803.

    Suggestions?

    cannot save word files after 1809 update

    My only suggestion is to roll back to version 1803. And then block 1809.

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
