    18946.1000.rs_xbox_dev.190723-1700 UUP-CTv2 broke my system


    This automatic update "18946.1000.rs_xbox_dev.190723-1700 UUP-CTv2" happened on 24 Jul 2019, since then all automatic updates have failed, including the latest windows 10 1909. Microsoft could only offer a complete rebuild of the OS with all the risks that entails. Has anyone got a less radical solution ?

    Good Afternoon,

    Just wondering what : 18946.1000.rs_xbox_dev.190723-1700 (UUP-CTv2) is please as I'm being offered it in Windows Update today , I've tried online to find out what it is and in MS Catalogue. I wanted to hide it until I can find out more info on it
    using : wushowhide.exe but it isn't there which is worrying as to where has it come from ?

    Update Failure

    Featured in the Feature Update section of my win update screen is this -18946.1000.rs_xbox_dev. 190723-1700(uup-ctv2)-error 0x800b0109. Files not properly signed. When I clicked on check for updates button it downloaded but would not install due to the
    error. Can someone help with this, does anyone know what it is ?
