Windows 10: 1903 failed to update and now it's telling me that 1909 is available

Version 1903 failed with error 0x80240034 and now I have 1909 to update. Where do I go to try to download 1903 again?

Well would't you know it. I did everything, every step, all the suggestions, months of failed downloads and was going to wipe everything tomorrow and start again, but remembered I hadn't tried your suggestion of updating to 1809 before 1903/09, and blow
me down, but it's updated to 1809 with ease!

I have yet to dare to try and get it to update to 1909 but it's the 1st progress in months, so thanks.

 

Need update 1903 before 1909, 1903 failed in August, can't find it to upload

So Windows tried to automatically update with 1909, but since 1903 failed (not sure when), it can't. I've read lots of questions/answers - tried to download a security update that was supposedly a prerequisite to 1903, but all options in the Microsoft update
catalog said they weren't applicable to my computer. Tried to find 1903, but can only find Cumulative Updates that look like they came after 1903.

So last successful update was to 1809. Now I have notices that Feature updates to1903 failed in late August, and that Feature Updates to 1909 failed today. That's cuz i don't have 1903... A 1809 update successfully installed on 6/12/19 (shouldn't I have
had 1903 by then?), but update history only has Cumulative Updates and Security Updates otherwise.

Where do I find 1903 to download? I assume once i get that, i can get 1909 on Windows Update tool?

Asus K401LB x64-based processor. Plenty of RAM and hard drive space.

Windows Updates Cumulative Update version 1903 and the Featured Update version 1909 both fail

I have tried to install both the Cumulative Update version 1903 and the Featured Update version 1909 and when they hit the 100% mark I get a message in install failed and the changes are being undone. After doing this the first time my printer does not
work and I've deleted it and reloaded and it still doesn't work.

I have tried six times to do the updates without success. When I view the update history it says the Featured Update version 1909 failed on 11/18/2019 and the Cumulative Update version 1903 was successfull on 11/18/2009. It than says the Featured
Update version 1909 was successfully updated on 11/18/2019 followed by the Cumulative Update version 1903 failed on 11/23/2009.

During the check for updates it continually loads the the Cumulative
Update version 1903.

When I look at the OS Build it shows Version 1903 installed on 10/12/2019 OS Build 18362.449

So, how do I get these updates to install or allow updates for everything else except Windows updates?

Plus get my printer to be recognized, I can still print documents using email.
