Windows 10: 1909 sysprep issues

I've frequently encountered issues with sysprep failing since 1903 due to some issue with spopk.dll. replacing it with an 1809 or earlier version of the same .dll typically fixed it, but since upgrading to 1909 this will allow it to sysprep, but when deploying a captured image / booting back into the sysprepped machine, windows fails to install citing a "Windows Setup could not configure windows on this computer's hardware."

Images were captured and built in a hyper-v VM, same error occurs when trying to deploy the captured wim to a physical device.

Any ideas?

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

0xc1900101 - 0x30018 first_boot sysprep Error while upgrading from Windows 10 1803 to 1909

Hello ,

I am facing error : 0xc1900101 - 0x30018 first_boot sysprep while upgrading from Windows 10 1803 to 1909.

I have performed all steps including river upgrade, chkdsk etc but still face the problem.

I have also uninstalled all AV software from the system but issue still persists .

Attaching the Panther and Rollback logs.

Appreciate if some one can help .
