My 1909 update was stuck at 90% for hours, so I turned my computer off and back on hoping the windows system would uninstall what it had and fix it

It’s now stuck in a boot loop, making getting to safe mode impossible.

    I’ve tried shift click, alt + F8, F8, F11, F10

I can access the F2 page, but I can’t do much from there

I created an installation media flashdrive to re-install windows and wipe my computer, but its now saying that it in fact can’t install due to certain partitions being in an incorrect format. I tried going through EVERY troubleshooting option available. The command prompt box doesnt even reference my c drive so I can’t boot to safe mode using typical codes.

    :)

Unable to Start in Safe Mode Win10

I understand that as repeating the basic problem. Is that what you mean? I can't tell you why- some sort of corruption- hence all the steps I'm suggesting. Please try each in turn.

The first are to check for basic forms of corruption and so proceed onwards in order.

Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
