    1920 x 1080 Missing [possable fix]


    Ok needed to post this some where because I just spent the past 4 hours trying to fix my screen resolution 1920 x 1080 Missing [possable fix] :)

    After this last windows update all of a sudden I lost my screen resolution of 1920 x 1080

    now of course I tried rollback drivers, updated drivers, uninstall driver nothing worked


    And I am not sure why I even tried this...but it worked 1920 x 1080 Missing [possable fix] :)


    I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 and 2 monitors, now on the card ports there is a HDMI and DVI slots


    I Swapped the HDMI cable to Monitor #1 and DVI cable to Monitor #2 and it worked!

    [it was the reverse before the update]

    1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list

    my monitor has 1920 X 1080 resolution, but 1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list. how can I get 1920 X 1080 resolution listed?

    Ubuntu missing 1920 X 1080 resolution in vmware - How to fix


    Hi folks
    Running Ubuntu (or various derivatives of it such as kbuntu etc) in a VM standard HD resolution 1920 X 1080 is missing.

    To fix :

    sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools-desktop

    I can't select 1920 x 1080 as my resolution anymore.

    I was trying to fix my another problem and I changed my 1920 x 1080 resolution to 1600 x 900. Now I can't select 1920 x 1080 to be my resolution. I would really like some help on this because I've been trying multiple things to fix it and none of it has
    worked.
