Windows 10: 1920x1080 not available since major update this morning

Discus and support 1920x1080 not available since major update this morning in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; My Windows 10 updated and now my monitor's native resolution 1920x1080 is no longer available.     1920x1080 not available since major update this morning


    My Windows 10 updated and now my monitor's native resolution 1920x1080 is no longer available. My monitor is now stuck at 1600x1200!

    I had 1920x1080 before the update and now I have no way of returning it to 1920x1080! 1920x1080 is not even listed as a valid mode!

    My display is now stretched because it has a 4:3 ratio on a 16:9 monitor!

    How do I fix this?

    I have a Dell Optiplex 780!

    Valve Announces Major Update for Steam

    Nice update, but adding this makes me think they're trying to take out X-Fire, with the friends lists and in-game IM that's already available, and also the new Steam page, which X-Fire already has.
    Although I do hope the major update is more than just socialising crap, it's about time they added this me thinks.

    1920x1080 Resolution not available on Windows 10

    Problem was solved about a month ago with one of the Windows updates. Came in one morning and resolution was correct - when I went to resolution settings there were now several available rather than just 3.

    Thanks for everyone's suggestions but waiting it out paid off. I did let Microsoft know about the problem and whether that brought about the update or not I don't know.
