    1920x1080 WAS fixed now I do not have it (again)


    When my Dell Optiplex 780 updated to 1803, I lost my monitor's native resolution 1920x1080. This was corrected after installing version 1809. However, the very first update after version 1809 (a minor update) removed 1920x1080 yet again! It is stuck on 1600x1200 just like last time! I am unable to watch the movie required for class because it requires 1920x1080!

    I have no clue what is going on here with the resolution disappearing and reappearing with each update! Now I have a version 1809 without 1920x1080 despite the fact that it WAS working with 1809!

    How can I get this resolution back again? I just cannot wait for the next update because my assignment is due Tuesday morning.

    Programs not working


    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
