    Error 1935 during 3rd party installation on Windows 10 64bit

    Is there any recent updates to solving the error 1935. I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 flawlessly. I installed Office 2010 flawlessly. After running for two weeks I incurred a problem and had to reset Windows 10. Since then I have been getting
    the Error 1935 during the installation of assembly component in Office 2010. I've tried everything above plus everything on the net I can find. Nothing works. Help please.

    • If you are receiving any error message when installing .NET framework 3.5?
    Yes. I click on the link, a Windows Features pops up "Downloading requires files" then when it completes downloading The new message is:

    The following feature couldn't be installed:

    .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)

    Transaction support within the specified resource manager is not started or was shut down due to an error.

    Error code: 0x80071A91


    • What happens when you try to install .NET framework 3.5 on your computer?

    • We would like to know the version of Microsoft Office you are using?
    Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. Sorry I don't know the version. The software won't install. I get the error 1935, HRESULT: 0x80071a91

    Is that the full error message?

    Sometimes it pops up when you try and install a program and there's another program running that 'clashes' with the install process or it could possibly be an issue with the correct version of .NET not being installed , but it depends what the full message is.
