Windows 10: 2.1 Subwoofer issues. Bluetooth connectivity.

Hi. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Windows with nearly every update. Connected devices stop working, printers etc. all need to be reconfigured or configurations reconfirmed and of course check the drivers from the device makers. With my ASUS G75VW which has stereo speakers and a subwoofer, 2.1channel circuitry, the subwoofer invariably disappears. Usually with a 1/2 a day's worth of tinkering around, I can retrieve the subwoofer. The last updates have completely wiped out all the 2.1, 5.1, 7.1 channel control from the sound section. I understand Window 11 will offer better sound option

Step 2: There are two terms regarding Bluetooth: pairing and connecting. Pairing is the introduction of one device to another. Once paired, they will stay in each other’s memory until manually erased. Once a device
is paired, the headset can then connect to that device to receive audio or voice from the device.

• Go into the device's paired list and manually select the Bluetooth.
  
• You may need to clear your paired list in your headset and re-pair your headset to your device.
  
• To clear your paired list in your headset, follow these steps: on the headset, press and hold the call and volume – buttons for 10 seconds
  
• The headset will revert to discoverable mode (slowly blinking LED), allowing you to re-pair the computer you want connect.

Issue connecting JLabs Wireless/Bluetooth Headphones.

I understand that it can get difficult if the applications are not working as expected. I see that you have tried few steps that might help us. However, we can go ahead and try few steps to see if we can resolve this issue.

1. What is the make and model of your system?
   
2. What is the version of Windows 10 you are using? You can refer this article to
   
   Check for operating system information in Windows 10.
   
3. Were there any changes made to the operating system recently?
   

Method 1: Bluetooth Support Service is running.

1. Hold down the Windows logo key and press the R key to bring up the Run
   box
2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
3. Right-click Bluetooth Support Service, then click Start. (If the Start option grayed out, then click
   Restart.)
4. Right-click on Bluetooth Support Service again, and this time click
   Properties.
5. Set its startup type to Automatic. Click Apply, and then click
   OK.
6. Hold down the Windows logo key and press
   I key to bring up the Settings window, and make sure the Bluetooth option is there.

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

Hi,

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
