Windows 10: 2 Good Items in Store NOW

1. We all know Notepad. And it has a new icon & some enhancements/improvements. BUT... Also, from Store is Notepads with an 'S' It is way cooler I have it pinned to the taskbar; prefer it that much over Notepad.2. Windows Terminal. This a brilliant new tool. Ultimately will be replacing cmd & the current PowerShellBoth of these are available NOW from Store. Windows Insider Builds not required for either of these.Cheers,Drew

Windows Store Reset

Why did you delete them?

It wasn't working for me, set up as live tile but not updating the picture. I then went to featured app in the store as you suggested, then ran wsreset and it started working.

Was that your steps? I did read them but I forgot what they are now and I seem to have only done 2 steps.

 

2 settings items

hi forum,
i usually use tutorials here but i didn't find 2 of the items in the settings, so i created account to ask here, maybe someone can help, thanks in advance.
Windows 10 enterprise x64 version 1803 or 1809 (i have both)

1) Settings > Privacy > General > Show me suggested content in the Settings app

2) Settings > Privacy > Activity history > Store my activity history on this device

I need to set the above 2 items in settings (disable) by using registry, only by reg or bat file.
anyone knows if the above 2 items have registry keys to set?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
