Windows 10: 2 Monitor Issue, likely simple if you understand these configurations

I have HP Compaq born with win 10 but has been successfully used with win 11 for a number of months now. I hooked up a 2nd monitor. The main one, #1 monitor is a new 24" and it's working fine, I'm watching it now. I have a 2nd monitor that is working via USB / Adapter >to HDMI. The #2 is showing and the mouse will move between the 2, in the correct direction, but the taskbar is on #2 when I use both. I need the Taskbar on #1. When I select 'Use Only 1" then #2 shuts off and #1 gets the taskbar back. Also, I cannot drag the orientation. In this image you see #1 on the Left, it's actually on

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

Monitors may not work as expected if the driver is not up-to-date. With this said, we suggest that you check if you have the latest drivers installed. In addition, we would like to ask some questions that may help us to isolate the issue.

• Does the external monitor work with your laptop before?
• Have you tried to connect the external monitor to your desktop?
• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
