  1. 2 networks showing on a single adapter

I am getting 2 networks showing up on a single Ethernet interface with different security levels, this is causing problems as I want the port to be on a private network, but the Public security is being applied instead.Network 3 and Network 6 are on the same Ethernet port, the output of Get-NetConnectionProfile is giving me only Network 3, however I am not able to ping the device on the other end properly as I could when there was only the 1 network. I am not sure how I can change or remove this network since I cannot see it anywhere to change its security level.

    :)

2 networks showing on a single adapter

IP configuration not valid - interference from ethernet adapter?

Solution 1: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1or Windows 10

    Step 1:

Go to Device Manager → Network adapters.
    Step 2:

    Expand it (Network adapters).

    Step 3:

    Select your network adapter

    Step 4:

Right click on your wireless network adapter or Ethernet adapter and then tap “Update Driver Software”.
(in this case your network adopter is Ethernet adopter so tap your Ethernet adapter)
    Step 5:

Now on a new window you will need to click on “Browse my computer for driver software”.
