2 questions about 'customization w/o affecting other users'

Like the title says, is there's some sort of way to customize those start menu programs without affecting other users of the same PC? The other question is that, is there any way to play a specific sound on shutdown and on user login? I know I can just replace the start-up sound with another file but like in my first question, that would affect other users as well... which isn't a good thing.

There's probably no way to do either one (w/o third parties) but I still asked. heh *chuckle

    :)

    Color personalization affecting other users

    Hi All,

I have two users in my Windows 10 Pro laptop, each with its own display personalization - colors, background, etc. - only one with admin rights. The one with no admin rights,
when logged on, affects the window borders of the admin user with its color configuration. When it logs off the admin border colors comes back to normal.

Any hints on why is this happening?

2 questions about 'customization w/o affecting other users'

I think if accounts are just regular accounts the settings are combined, but with a microsoft accounts it acts differently so the user has more control over his settings. if that makes sense.

I've tried that by adding a folder shortcut in the start menu. Seems like even if the other users are using microsoft accounts, it shows up on other their start menu as well.
