Screen share resolution within Teams system – When sharing a presentation the audience is only able to see a small section of the presentation. This is also what’s displayed on the room screen, whereas the presenter's laptop shows the full screen as normal. This is using a Dell dock and two multi-screen displays. When doing so we can only show on a resolution of 4K 30hz but when using 4k 60hz it struggles to compute the image and one screen loses it. Also We have a Camera issue - When a laptop hasn’t been connected to the meeting room before, the meeting room camera doesn’t come up on devices t

  2. HDR and WCG will not turn on for 4k 60hz, only 30hz.

    Hi UmeedMalik,

Issue like this might be due to an outdated videocard driver. I'd like to get more information regarding this so we could further check and provide a more established workaround. Please answer the following:

    1. What is the current build and version of your Windows 10?
    2. Is this the first time that you are trying to connect your PC to your TV?
    3. What type of cable did you use to connect your computer to your TV?

In the meantime, try the following suggestions to isolate the issue:

    • Download and install all the suggested Windows cumulative and security update.
    • Install the latest video card driver. Download it directly from the manufacturer's website.
    • Use a different HDMI cable. Check if your video cable supports 4k 60hz resolution. Some HDMI cable only supports 30hz at 4k.
    • Try connecting your PC to you TV alone. This will help us eliminate hardware conflict issues.

If you would like me to provide additional advice, simply respond to this thread. I will get notified and I’ll reply to you as soon as I can.

    Flickering text on 4K @ 60Hz

Just letting you know, in the manual for my Sony to it says it does support 60hz at 4K which is very odd.

with mouse trailing it seems to fix the flickering issue and seems to be running at 4K at 60hz

    Hdmi and 4k 60hz/30hz Questions

I used an old dell xps 15 9550 for many years. Will no longer be using it anymore and will be using a new laptop. Had it connected with 2 external monitors... one is 32' 4k monitor via usb-c to displayport cable. The other 24' 1920x1200 monitor I connect it via hdmi to dvi cable.

    1. The hdmi port on this xps 15 9550 laptop seem to be 1.4? What is the max resolution I could actually done with the hdmi port? They hdmi port no longer works anymore but could I have done 4k resolution? If so, it would be 30hz correct?

    2. I also heard you do not want 4k at 30hz because there is lag... correct? So whether you have 1 external monitor or 2 external monitor, you never want 30hz and always want 60hz? But if you just do basic things, then 30hz isn't an issue? I heard there was some lag with 30hz but that is only if you play games or do something intensive?

    3. When I had set up the 2 external monitors, I did this with those 2 cables and no docking station or anything like that. Now i know the 32' 4k monitor was 60hz. But when I am using 1920x1200 resolution on the 24' monitor that is connected from hdmi to dvi, am I getting 60hz or not? I recall it showed that a while back when I checked the monitor settings but I'm not sure. Would it been possible it was 1920x1200 at 30hz? The other thing is if it was 1920x1200 at 30hz, would I notice unbearable lag?

    4. So when looking at a laptop, if they mention an hdmi port, make sure it is at least hdmi 2.0 in order for that hdmi port to do 4k resolution at 60hz right? I heard there is hdmi 1.2 and 1.4. So 1.2 can't even do 4k and max is 1920x1080 at 60hz?
