    2 short beeps after startup, followed by miscellaneous issues.


    Sometimes(~50% of the time) after startup, I get two short beeps through my headphones. Not sure if this is windows or some software I have installed. Whenever this happens, I have weird miscellaneous issues. Examples include:
    - Windows key won't open start menu (Windows key combinations still work fine, and sometimes the windows key will open start menu if I spam it really fast)
    - Can't highlight text in Discord.
    - Right clicking items in start menu (only after searching something) results in the context menu disappearing immediately after appearing.
    - Middle click to scroll (anywhere) behaves the same as the context menu, the icon disappearing immediately.


    If those beeps don't play, it seems to not have any of those issues. I'm at a loss as to what this could be.

    1 long beep, 3 short beeps. No signal.

    It's a RAM issue, not graphic related.

    I thought you would of noticed that when i backed up your thought about it (notice the highlighted parts above in the quote).

    Try the following steps i mentioned before aswel - With the sounds of it your half way there and you know what your doing, So basically once you get into Bios for the first time after Bios reset change the voltage, I don't suggest 1.8v like you said though, It should be fine at 2.0.

    seems alot of people are having beep code issues with ASUS lately.....here is the ASUS list of beeps....Award BIOS Beep Codes - BIOS Central

    2 short beeps then 1 long beep on start up

    Afaik any combination of beeps following 2 short ones means RAM failure. Try to obtain one RAM stick at least to test it out. Don't use your present RAM.
