Windows 10: 2 step verificatie + Auth. app blok password setting

there is an "old" MS account OneDrive full, which cannot accessed. Password cannot renewed because of 2 step verification and Auth. app 2nd step.The Authenticator app is assigned to the "new" MS account. Both MS-accounts are no MS e-mail accounts.Can this solved without human support?

PayPal's 2-step verification causing me extreme frustrations!

i just turned my 2 step verification off to see what's the fuzz. It worked fine.
log into your paypal account - settings - security- 2 step verification - update -and turn it off.
then you'll see the 2 options below that you talk about (authenticator app or code ) , ignore it , you already turned off 2 step verification. It says so too , that all you need to log in is your password.

 

2 step-authentication with app password not working

Just to be clear, after enabling 2-step authentication on my account, Chronos Calendar was unable to sync (which was expected). I went to the web page to create an app password, did a copy of the code, went back to Chronos Calendar, paste the code in
the password field. But I got the error that I can't get authenticated. I tried several times, removing the password, creating a new one, enter it manually or by copy/paste: same problem. So I removed the 2-step authentication and everything is now back to
normal.

I have enabled 2-step authentication on my Microsoft account.
I'm trying now to create/use an application password on my WP8 but it doesn't work, the application is failling to authenticate with the generated password.
Has anyone successfully used an app password?
