    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    This is a question about transfering photos from Windows 8 phone to Windows XP desktop. I have windows 8 on Nokia Lumia 822 phone. I have windows XP on 7-yr old Dell desktop. I believe the only way to move files might be with cable connection between ph
    & desktop, & using Windows Explorer on desktop. But XP does not recognize the phone, so I can't use Explorer to move the files. I have tried downloading related software from Microsoft; I believe my desktop is too old to use any software tools. I have tried
    using Control Panel / Add Hardware / Add Harware Wizard. The wizard shows the Lumia on the list of devices. When I go through the steps offered by the Wizard, it ends with "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this harware but cannot find the
    hardware device (Code 41)". Why does the wizard show the Lumia on list & say it can't find it? The photos are stored on an SD card in the phone. I assume that I can remove the SD card, insert card in reader, connect reader to desktop by USB cable, & move
    from card to desktop using Windows Explorer. But this seems more cumbersome that it should be. Is SkyDrive an option? I believe my desktop is too old to work directly with SkyDrive. Somehow I have impression it may be possible to work with SkyDrive indirectly
    through IE. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to help my desktop see my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions about workarounds.

    HP Support Assistant Icon disappeared from desktop -

    I did follow these steps and HP Support Assistant was gone from my taskbar list. What I did notice on my desktop was that my HP printer was now on my desktop. I clicked on the printer and the same menu for HP Support Assistant comes up. So the HP Support
    Icon is replaced by Printer ICON. Thank you for your help.
