Windows 10: 2004 update messed up my laptop

I should've known better before updating my laptop. But here I am the fool who trusted Microsoft with their updates, here are the issues-

1. 
   Audio cuts out now and then. This happens during playing games.
   
   
2. 
   Startup takes more time.
   
   
3. 
   Windows explorer dies. Live tiles are gone, stuff pinned to the taskbar as well and the shortcuts too just vanish.
   
   
4. 
   FPS drops in gaming. (GTA V)
   
   
5. 
   Stuff freezes after startup.
   
   
6. 
   a .DLL file is missing.
   

These issues were not there in the 1909 version. Stuff I tried to do- run sfc scan and DSIM via cmd, run CCleaner, did a scan with Windows Defender. What eventually worked is rebooting till the issues are gone. The .DLL and live tiles bugs are still persist.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Laptop problem: Black vertical "sidebar" [Update]

I will try that... do you think I have complete access to replace the monitor cable without dismantling the laptop from step 1? *Eek!
Tbh it's a bit scary.
