Windows 10: 2004 Update NCSI No Network but I have network

I've searched around a bit and it seems this issue is known since July but still no fix it? The NCSI on my taskbar displays no network but I do in fact have internet. I've tried a few solutions found from searching including uninstalling Intel Proset, changing EnableActiveProbing in the Registry to 1 (it was already set to one but I toggle to 0 reset and then back to 1), reset my network stack, uninstalled and reinstalled my network driver, booted up in a clean state and checked for the latest updated. Through GP I have all updates deferred by 10 days, but switched that back to the default settings and still nothing. I even tried toggling a VPN on but still no success.

Does anyone have an ideas? It's hindering my use of all office products and the store. Do these apps really just look at the status of the NCSI and take whatever it says as the truth? If so, that's pretty terrible and ridiculous on the dev side of things.

Network Connection Status Indicator (NCSI) Showing No Internet, but Browsing Works Fine.

I am using a Fortigate 100D UTM with 65 PCs connected. 22 of them have this issue. All the PCs are on the same Network / Domain so I find it hard to believe that there is a problem with the Router / UTM Firewall as all PCs would
be showing the same NCSI error.

As for your remaining suggestions; I've done all of these things, multiple times on several different PCs and all returned the same results - NCSI thinks there is No Internet but clicking on the icon resolves the issue, albeit
temporarily (several hours). Windows Troubleshooter does not find anything wrong with the Network Connection or Internet Connection.

If there were issues with the Firewall, NIC, or AV the "No Internet" issue would remain regardless. Clicking on the NCSI icon initiates a probe of the Internet via WinHTTP and the results of that probe satisfies NCSI requirements
and the status is changed.

Do you have any information or perhaps a script to test NCSI using WinHTTP?

 

NCSI Causes no internet issue

I am having a mostly intermittent issue on computers running Windows 10 Pro, Version 2004.

Sometimes the computer shows the globe in the bottom right of the task bar stating no internet connectivity, while there is actually internet connectivity. This is causing issues with certain applications such as communication between Outlook 365 and SharePoint.
I have tried all the following steps:

- uninstall network driver and let windows 10 reinstall

- EnableActiveProbing regedit fix

- Flush DNS

- Disconnect from network and reconnect

Sometimes these actions will fix the issue, however it always comes back. Is there a known permanent solution to NCSI?

 

Firmware 3.90 with Skype Now Available on Network Update

Fanboy reports that the PSP 3.90 firmware update is now available. The new firmware available only through Network Update will bring Skype for all PSP-2000 models. Here are the official details:

• Support for PLAYSTATION Network titles has been expanded.
• Skype has been added as a feature under Network. (Only for PSP-2000 series)

Skype requires a PSP headset in order to work properly.
